How we work
We have been designing and manufacturing sofas for over forty years. During that time our expert workforce has flourished and grown. We recognise that skilled craftsmen and women are at the heart of our business and we are committed to continually investing in their training.
Investing in British talent
Quality and craftsmanship are at the centre of our business, and our initiatives, such as the DFS Design Foundation, are part of our long-term plan to ensure that our design and manufacturing traditions will continue to flourish for the next 40 years.
Best of British
We have developed long-standing relationships with a huge range of UK-based suppliers. The local businesses we work with include the makers of the springs for our sofas, the Lancashire mills that supply quality fabrics for our upholstery and everything in between.
